Better fucking be. I've watched all 7 games this year and I've seen the following in every one
(even the 3 we won and especially the last 2)

1. Way too many turnovers in our own end which have hung Marty out to dry and about half our GA this year.

2. D-men acting like they don't know what they're doing in almost every conceivable situation.

3. Back to our inept PP execution and people who are placed at the wrong spots on the ice (Kovy at the point DOESNT WOR PETE, YOU LEARNED THAT IN PLAYOFFS) He is most effective at the half boards to the right of the goalie for a one-timer plus he is a liability backchecking still just not as much as before.

4. Simple fundamentals not being executed (Icings on PP, bad line changes, backcheckers taking the shooter which is Marty/Moose's job instead of the pass like Salvador did on their 3rd goal today.

This shit better get fixed QUICK or we will be sitting at home this year while someone else takes our East title which we busted our ass and went thru hell last year to get. I tend to panic early at things but in a 48-game schedule I have a right to this time.

LOL, no doubt. I remember they all were saying trade Fleury and start Johnson a couple years ago.


What a shit show by the Devils today. They looked like a bunch of clueless clowns on defense and were so damn sloppy with their passing it was disgusting. Hopefully this i a wakeup call and they get their shit together quick.

The D was non-existent. Still going to need another legit scorer to beat the good teams. I don't think the Devils are a 4 goal loss to the Pens bad. But this game was a measuring stick and the Devils didn't do too well.

Yea, my memory tells me they dont do well during afternoon games.

Glad they got embarrassed. If it was 2-1 or even 3-1, they might be convincing themselves that they weren't too bad. In reality, they played like garbage and even though they were 3-0-3 before today, they were lucky to have that record.
Defense has been horrible last 2 games.

I would be fine if they allow 5 but score 6 or 7 goals. But it is not happening and will not happen if Devils don't acquire another scorer. We need to replace Parise with someone who is capable to score 30+ goals within full season.

Cup, based on your logic if Kovy scored in Montreal, we would have won that game too. i.e. where he hit the post 40 seconds into OT.
