They still are. Could you imagine what Geno Smith could do with that offense?
Well not when they sell off their defense to pay for the QB they have now.

I believe Seattle fans are pulling for the Broncos to tank.
As they should, of course they want Denver to give them a high pick, just like I want to San Francisco to give us a high pick. Of course, I’m gonna laugh. If it turns out, Denver ends up giving them like a 12 pick, and they have the 15th pick essentially screwing up their future because they think Geno is the analyst. Obviously I want Denver to do good but it’s gonna be a struggle.

Who had to sell off their defense? Denver basically got a first round pick instead of a 3rd(maybe) round comp when he left in free agency. Even before we signed Wilson there was talk that Chubb wasn’t gonna get an extension, but let me guess you’re somehow surprised that a player in a contract year is playing like he wants to get paid big. I like Chubb I have his jersey but only a fool thinks a guy who’s missed an average of 7 games each of the past 3 years and only played well his rookie year and half of this year is some big monumental loss.

If they end up with the 12 and 15th pick that would give them plenty of ammo to trap up for a player if they are really smitten with one.

Sure, but then those two picks turn into one when all you had to do was tank with Drew Lock and you could’ve gotten 2 potential home runs instead of hoping the 1 you got pans out. Just like any team who takes a 1st round talent.

But hey I’m pulling for you all against SF.

Sure but I’d much rather the season as it is right now thanwatching my favorite team lose games on purpose.

9ers can eat a dick but they are built for the playoffs. Can Jimmy G win the big game is the question
Nobody new if Stafford could win the big game either. Or even a playoff game.

So if Seattle makes the playoffs and wins a game, do they still move up in the draft to get a top 3 QB? Or is Geno your long term answer?

True but Stafford is 1 for 1. Jimmy G has been in a few and he’s not done very good

Depends. Geno is a FA at the end of the year. So in that scenario it’s gonna come to what Geno is going to demand. If he wants too much then he can get that from another team. If he’s willing to stay for cheaper then I’d imagine they would build around him like the 9ers did with Jimmy.

is it just me? because I am uncomfortable with seeing the Cowboys sitting at #5.
I want to see my team wanting to improve. Not be happy where they are at (playwise)

Oh! & there is no way the Bills arent #1!

Good question. I say stick with drafting a QB.

Pete calls that shot, but he has been big on Geno for a while. I realize that could be merely coach speak.
I like what I have seen of Geno. I would extend him if I could. Right now.
If he finishes the year as he has been playing, he will finally get his massive payday. Additionally, if he falters or gets hurt, that could severely damage him financially.
Yet, sometimes the bird hangs in the brush. He could sign a deal now, say $54M for 3 years, $35 guaranteed, and he would be a rich man.
Im just talking out loud, but I think Geno will still play well going forward.
