So the cap rules specifically say “All rookie 1st round picks must sign a 4 year contract” but I’m wrong. Uh huh. You fools are just crushed I proved you all wrong and you can’t handle it.
#TheChamp

I can hurl insults cause I’m right. He call me stupid yet he’s 100 percent wrong

You’re a fucking liar because it says MORE than that but you cut it off to fit your narrative.

You’re so weak minded you can’t admit your wrong. Think about it: EVERYONE here disagrees with you but still you maintain that you are right and we are ALL wrong.

It’s a good thing your parents died and left you that money or else you’d be fucked. Enjoy it!

Just answer this one question and I’ll drop it...
We are talking contracts and the specific language says “Rookie 1st round picks are mandated to sign a 4 year contract”.
My question is WHY DO YOU GET TO CHANGE THE SPECIFIC LANGUAGE OF THE CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT?

It’s not a contract. It’s a 4 year contract with an additional year of rights if they so choose. “Rights” is not a contract.

But again... why do you get to change the exact wording of the NFL contractual agreement?

It’s YOU who changes the wording to fit your narrative but that’s what fucking liars do.

Curious, how many cocks did your dead mother suck to leave you that inheritance? Enjoy it... she worked hard for it.

They did not roll over the money before. They are rolling it after he bought it out. Why would every paper report that it’s saves Philly 2 million on the salary cap then? Let me guess... you know the cap situation better and all the reporters reporting it are wrong.
If Foles didn’t opt out they wouldn’t have got the 2 million in cap roll over saving. You really trying to tell me all the reporters got it wrong and they are all fucking idiots but you know better.

I don’t know why you have to continue to hurl insults when you are completely wrong.

Please note article was published January 31. Now please tell me when Foles declined his option.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/247spo...Eagles-rollover-cap-space-2019-128532733/Amp/

The Philadelphia Eagles were projected to be $15,375,726 million over the salary cap heading into the 2019 offseason (per Over the Cap), but are set to add some significant cap relief. Per figures released by the NFLPA, the Eagles will carry over $6.1 million of salary cap space for this offseason, reducing their salary cap amount to $9,275,726 million over the limit.

The Eagles next decision regarding the salary cap will be their call on Nick Foles, who has a $20 million option owed to him by February 12. The Eagles will save $18.8 million in cap space if they move on from Foles, so expect them to decline the option and get into the green in time for the start of free agency.

I never would have believed that the concept of contract option/extension being written into the terms of the original contract would be such a difficult thing to understand.

the 5th year is written into the 1st rounders original contract making the contract for 5 years.
only the 1st 4 go into the rookie pool. Still one contract.
If the 5th year was a new contract. it would need signatures from both parties again. Since it is included in the 1st (original) it is a 5 year contract. Terminology is basically to deal with the cap & the cap rules. Doesnt change the fact it is a 5 year deal. (all under the original Signatures/Agreements)

How can someone call reporters idiots when they get paid to report to idiots?

No it isn’t because what if he doesn’t get extended for his 5th year. Then he fulfilled his 4 year contract and can walk. You lost and are actually trying to override the specific words for the league rules. That’s literally what you’re doing. You’re saying even though it says they sign for 4 year you get to rewrite the contractual agreement to your own liking.

Having the rights is not a contract

You really, really are making me feel very good.
How do they have the rights? Is he a slave? No! it is a contract that he has signed - At the beginning of 5 years!

Rights is not a contract. You can’t seem to accept that. If the player is not extended he isn’t cut. The team didn’t extend his 4 YEAR CONTRACT

Yes, the newspaper lied. You’re right. You’re the expert on the cap. The newspapers all reporting this in Philly are stupid and you’re brilliant

Never said that. Me and DoubleDown have. You’re the only one who cried about it.
I didn't cry about it. Whenever someone says they were with my mother last night, my response is in line with them digging up her grave, or sleeping with dead people.
I don't cry like you do.

And what you can’t understand is it’s a 4 year contract with a 5th year option

Let's forget about what the newspaper said or didn't say.

In you own opinion how can the Eagles carry forward money they don't have at that moment?

I'll cede that it's possible the number can be amended but as of today the amount being carried over was set pre Foles opting out.
Come on Temple explain how what you read is possible.

Better yet, just admit you were wrong.

What a liar. I can’t believe how you’re never wrong. I had to explain Mom jokes to you. Had to say I won’t do it again cause you were highly offended. You’ve never ever ever been wrong. Newspapers make up fake ball washing articles about our GM and though ESPN, every Philly paper reported Philly gets an extra 2 million rollover they are all wrong. Amazing

I wasn’t wrong. ESPN was wrong, every Philly paper was wrong, ProFootballTalk was wrong but Manster was right. “I’ll cede the number can be amended” aka I know am wrong but I’ll still say ESPN and every Philly media outlet is wrong and I’m right”

And when the 5th year option is exercised it becomes a 5-year contract. No one draws up a new contract. There is no special meeting between parties. If you can find evidence to the contrary, post it. Nonetheless it's hilarious that will take the most mundane and minute detail of anything and argue it to death.

I'm not lying moron, and I wasn't highly offended. I un mom jokes but again my mother is dead and is the reason I use that response.

Now again, forget about what some Philly paper told you. How can a team carry over money it doesn't currently have?
