Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave.
There is no debate. There is no controversy.
in your mind. GM came out this week and wants to find a new QB............
settle down
Foles will be the QB until either manziel or Mariota get drafted and have a year or two to prepare.
I hope we don't draft either of those two. They both have BUST written all over them.
have you seen mariota play? Guy isn't a bust.
I can't say that I am 100% sold on Foles as the starter next year, but I could definitely get there. Today was obviously amazing. In his last start against Dallas, he obviously wasn't right all game. In any case, there is no reason for Vick to be the starter the rest if the way. Let's see what we have with Foles leading a team that still has something to play for. If he stinks it up, we go into the draft 100% sure we need a qb. If he continues to light it up like he did today, and against the giants and bucs, well then we roll with him and build around him.
Really? I know crazy things happen sometimes -- but, statistically speaking, the dude just had the single greatest passing game in NFL history. And he did it against a team with the #10 ranked defense, that was also fighting for a WC spot.
Everyone is going to have bad games, as seen by Foles v. Dallas, but he showed us yesterday that he is very capable of putting a bad game behind him and moving on. Also, the kid has a career QB rating of 94.0, which means he's played very well much more often than not.
I was at the Dallas game and it was a mixture of his offensive weapons not getting open, we said more times then not during each play out loud that no is open, your only as good as the weapons around you and he had none that day, add in a poor performance with no one getting open and you have a recipe for disaster which took place. I personally think the absence of Maclin has really hurt this offense the whole season tremendously, if he was healthy I cannot imagine what numbers they would be putting up.
