would be nice and they have closed a big gap before caught the rangers a few years back but I ain't getting my hopes up either

The players that created all of the hate between our two teams are all gone.

That and Carbomb didn't dress for the game. lol :p

Usually they find the hatred anyway I have noticed officials jumping in and breaking clarky up before anything can happen quite a bit this year.

I just got back from the game. Yeah, I went to it.

The Flyers just looked horrible in the first period and then Boucher let in a stinker. I didn't expect them to start like that at all.

The JVR goal was pretty nice though. Richards pass to Giroux was incredible and the tip in was awesome. I thought that they'd really come hard in the third period but they didn't until the last half of it. At that point the Devils did a good job and got some breaks (Pronger's stick breaking and Carter not finishing).

I thought the Devils did a really good job of clogging up the middle though. They really played well and I think it's a testament to Jacques Lemaire. It was kind of boring to watch (sorry Devs fans) but it was effective.

After the game I got a Philly Cheese steak from Pat's of course.
