I don't know that I would have ever even benched Bob for good. He had an extremely short leash. I just don't know what to say right now about the goaltending "situation" in Philly except that it never goes away.

I do think the defense in front of whatever goalie we start has to do a better job of stepping up on rushes and clearing out the front of the net on plays in tight.

On a side note, I can't believe Pronger started tonight only to get 4:33 on the power play and nothing else. That is close to a waste if you ask me. Is he fucking healthy or is he not? We're still on the fence here.

Congrats to the Flyers and their fans on the win today. The Sabres pissed away another strong 1st period with the lead, but this time they couldn't pull off another win in OT. The Flyers were in a must win situation, and they pulled it off in the end.

With the way this series has gone, I wouldn't expect anything less than a game 7.

No matter what happens on Tuesday night, I have to say I'm impressed with how the Sabres have played in this series. The Flyers by far have a more talented team, but a lot of the young guys and rookies on this team have really shown some heart.

Of course I would love to see the Sabres win and move on to Round 2, but the fact that they even made the PO's at all was a victory in itself.

All I know is that the Sabres better play a lot better in the 2nd period in Game 7.

The Flyers have scored 4 of their last 8 goals in the 2nd period, and the Sabres have simply looked awful.
