I am just responding to the "HOW BOUT TEH BOB???!!1" posts.

Bob has played an extremely solid game to this point. Having two capable goalies is a good thing, yes? It's not a one camp or bust situation.

I know what you mean, But I get tired of our fans constantly bashing this team. I mean what more besides win a cup do they have to do to please the masses. There is always a couple of players on a team no one really likes but to say Bob has no upside or future with this team thenm i really have a hard time valuing your opinion. Not you necessarily but you know what i mean. People have been doing the same thing to JVR , remember this is only lava's first full year as coach and I for one am completely satisfied with the direction he is taking us.

He just does not fit on this team, he only fits on teams with a bad defense

Let me just say this. Going down this stretch trying to lock up the division and conference on to the playoffs I see Boucher as the man. In the event that he fails and Bob can step up and get shit done I will accept him. Until then he is unproven and me calling out his mistakes are for precautionary purposes.

I think theres a clear difference. One guy is saying get rid of him because he's had bad games and doesnt belong, and other guys are saying NO THATS FUCKING NUTS.

Nobody is saying OMG DA BOBZ IS TOTALLY THE BEST GOALIE IN THE WORLD.

How about the posts that say BOB DOESNT FIT ON THIS TEAM.

Look, I don't have problem with any one, but I guess I just don't understand what everyone else is seeing, I like our team and all the players on it, are there times I think some can do a little better, yes, but as long as we're winning I wont complain too much.

Take, for instance, my Pronger Sucks thread. I make it after Pronger struggles for 2 months, back my claims up with statistics that showed the Flyers played exactly the same in every facet of the game with Bartulis/Walker in the lineup than with Pronger, yet people refused to acknowledge my statistics so they could continue to bring up how good he was last year, as if that had an effect on how poorly he played. I even bumped it myself to say he had a good game, and they continue to post nothing but the same old recycled crap from posts I made months ago.

If you want to use a Boucher/Bobrovsky example, the Bobrovsky guys are nowhere to be seen following a Boucher win or a poor showing by Bobrovsky, but here they are tonight, boasting "look at how Bobrovsky can shutout one of the worst offensive teams in recent memory that traded their 2 best offensive threats in the last 8 months" and the Boucher supporters get ripped to shreds. Who know who that sounds like? Phil07ly and gto. We came over here to get away from those idiots, but apparently their strategy of when to post rubbed off on some of these guys.

Very pleased with both...i dont lose sleep with either in the pipes...boosh has never one anything in regards to taking a team deep in the playoffs...that said i believe both are capable of taking us all the WAY!!!
