Honestly I wouldn't mind either guy - if the Flyers can get rid of anyone but Claude Giroux for those guys, it's worth it - none of the guys on this roster are worth keeping at this rate

At this point in the season? Yes. While we may have the record of a team that is rebuilding, we all know that it isn't the makeup of our team. If you fire the GM now, to me, it's a sign that we're blowing up the team and heading in a new direction. It's a little too early for that. I think we all agree that Talbot for Downie still looks to be a good move when you take into account that Downie has yet to even play a full game for us.

I would love to get Eberle here, would be a much needed boost of skill to our lineup and could be just the wake up call and shake up this team needs. I see us being good trade partners with Edmonton. They need grit and toughness up front and defensive defensemen. We have an abundance of both of those things.
Perhaps a package of B. Schenn, Simmonds and Coburn gets it done. Might be overpaying a bit but Eberle is a very, very good player.

I think a trade partner though that would work out well is with the Jets

Claude Noel is on the verge of being fired, it reeks of that happening very soon and the Jets have an abundance of really good defensemen

I would try and get either Tobias Enstrom or Zach Bogosian

I was thinking of posting schenn and schenn for Eberle. But that's just what we should be preaching against. The flyers have a ton of young talent. Lets be patient before we trade for the 'hot young thing of the week'

I'm sure people want a shake up, but Eberle doesn't push us into a playoff spot. Letting the young guys grow will get us there sooner

I'm in agreement on this as well, heard that Edm will likely move him(Yak) out of their young core because he's the odd man out and all the other guys will cost to much when its time to resign(Nuge and company), could be had for the right price but in flyers terms will that price be to steep???

I know this isn't a trade between the Flyers & Oilers, but the Oilers apparently signed Bryzgalov. Wow, I guess that solves their goaltending needs.

Now I'm not one to bash Bryz, I actually think he's a pretty good goalie, but with no defense, no backup, he's basically in the same situation as he was in last year. I don't see things turning out well for Bryz in Edmonton. Could be wrong tho.
