Flyers possibly changing Bro Hymn to the Unions DOOP song. Which I have no problem at all with. Kinda getting sick of Pennywise. Briere asked Lukko to consider changing it. Hope the Flyguys DOOP all over the Bs

That article was a few weeks old, guess they have already been using it. Havent been able to hear anything when the Flyers score because of the crowds

Yeah, they started using it once the playoffs started. The Union use it at their games too.

Im all for it. I like having an original goal song even if Union used it first. Bro Hymn is Anaheim's song. Hopefully it sticks past the playoffs

That's what they do at the Union games but it appears the Flyers fans haven't caught on to it yet.

That was the most obnoxious piece of shit that I've ever listened to. If they replace Bro Hymn with that trash, I will be extremely disappointed. Screw Anaheim, Bro Hymn works really well for us -- but, if they have to change it, they should go back to 'Song 2' by Blur, not some childish chant. Or, even better, why don't they just create their own chant ... they can call it "derp durrrr derp."

Maybe they can only play DOOP when Carcillo, Shelley, or Cote score? That's really the best use of the song I could find.

I'd like us to shell out the cash to get some Airbourne. I know we use their songs during the game already. Who wouldn't like the chorus of this after a breakaway goal:


It's fast, the lyrics fit the Flyers "bullies" image pretty well, and while it's not the best music ever created, it's certainly a great hockey song. I'm sure you guys have some ideas, too. But Doop is just not what I'm looking for in a hockey goal. Or a soccer goal, either. How'd the Union end up choosing it?
