Absolutely hate chocolate/coffee beer.

Local brewery has a raspberry lager and I find it to be delicious but thats because they don't over do it. The same cannot be said for Shock top and Leinenkugel. I also love a XX amber with lime when it's 95 degrees out. Thats about the extent of fruit/beer combinations for me.

Lienenkugal Berry Vies. Sorry about the spelling. I've had a few. Good refreshing beer after sex with a fat chick.

Not interested in fruit in my beer either...........I`ll drink a few angry Orchards, but I wouldn`t drink a beer with a slice of apple in it..........

Can you get Bells up there?

Oberon is a lot better.

First thing I'd do if I got rich:

Get drunk e'ry damn day on this. Lindemans Framboise Lambic.

Im not rich, so I drink maybe two bottles a year.

I didn't realize one had to be rich to drink this stuff.... I wouldn't want to be your stomach, though. Too sweet to drink more than 1 in a sitting.

It's like $14 a bottle.

I've never even tried drinking more than one at a time. lol

:spit: I was wondering. That'd be some serious gut-rot. I think I find it for around $10 here, if I'm not mistaken. But it's not bad when one is in the mood for something like that. :thumb:

Bells is my favorite brewery these days. I've been happy with everything I have tried from them. Two Hearted is my favorite.
They do a really nice job.

Crazy thing is, before they moved the main brewery to the new facility(Kalamazoo Brewing Company actually Brews in Comstock, but it's like five miles away from Bells downtown.), it was even better. Didn't force feed the carbonation back in the day. But I only really noticed a difference with Oberon.

Had a few Two Hearteds last night. :suds:

I have no doubt it used to be better. They only came to South Dakota about 18 months ago.

Fat Tire used to be amazing before it went national. Now I don't even drink the stuff.

I never had a Fat Tire until it blew up.

Heard all these great things about it. Meh. I talked several local establishments into switching their Fat Tire tap to Two Hearted. (Hillbilly bars around here usually dedicate one to "fancy" beers.). It goes over well with folks.

I'm not a huge fan of flavored beers. Once you get the flavors for hops then you really want to stick with it.

The only Missouri brewery where I aim towards flavored beer is Urban Chestnut and thats because they do 'German' style beer and the flavor actually really helps those. Kinsale and Schnickelfritz are both beers I'll grab on a regular basis. Its an acquired taste but then again the whole craft beer hobby is an acquired taste.

If you want to be technical about it, yes, anything other than water, yeast, hops, and malted barley is an adjunct, most of which would be for flavoring.
It doesn't have to be barley. There are great ryes and wheats out there.
