I know of a workplace in Omaha that has a black lady in HR who skirted the rules to slide some of her people on the payroll there.

She slid them in without doing the usual mandatory testing. I guarantee you if a white woman did that she would've been promptly fired... So what's your point?

There's some speculation involved on both sides of the Green quarterbacking issue. One side says he would do well if given the chance for a full game against a good team, and then there's the side who says he would stink it up enough to lose the game for our team.

Of course if he did get the chance to play against a good team, I'm going to shock some people here...

I would hope he did well so we can win the game.

I know I'm annoying and possibly a racist to a few people here for having stated quite a few times that I didn't think Green can cut it as a major college QB at Nebraska, but I hope this post clears up a few things about my opinion on this issue.

Green doesn't look comfortable in the pocket, His throwing mechanics are...unusual. He stares down his receivers. He can't hold onto the ball.
I don't give a shit if he's white, black, brown, gold, purple, orange, or fucking green for that matter. I don't see him as a good QB, and certainly not as a starter.
I am however psyched for Brion Carnes. Kid looks like a player, and shit, he's black isn't he?

Lee isn't our best option at QB but he did get it done last year and won us 10 games. To sit and say that he was the only reason we sucked as an offense in 09 is ignorant as all hell. Lee should get some garbage time this year, and especially should have vs SDSU. As somebody stated before, If Martinez goes down I would bet Lee would come in to manage the game over Green.

If the game were well in hand I think we'd see Green and then a big circus as Lee and Green are evaluated through the week to see who gets the next start.

If the game were still up for grabs, I think we'd still see Green, but he'd be on a real short leash.

I think these two are real close in the coaches eyes..Green more athletic, but Lee more of a game manager.

I'll give you that he has a strong arm, but accurate is one adjective that I wouldn't even come close to using yet.


Run in space.... Ok sure, I'll give you that to. Just don't let somebody come near him.

All I really know about Green is last year he was put into games in difficult situations many times. He didn't stand out when he did finally get a start.
I remember one nice run by Green last year that gave me hope.

This year he's had better opportunities, but has blown them with turnovers etc.

Since when? Not necc. disagreeing but I don't think anybody outside of practice has actually seen it.

Taylor is our starter, and has earned it though.. this argument is kinda moot

And I'm sure Lee graded out well in the one game he got to play in as well.

Every person has their own opinion but I haven't seen one thing this year or last year that tells me that Green will end up being a good QB.

I'm not saying Green Should start. I think who ever plays our offense best should start but from the amount of time green has put in this year, I don't think there is enough evidence to say he is a lost cause or a poor QB. I agree Lee would be a good option if magic goes down and all we have to do is play it safe and run it or pass to the TE. Green will be 2nd string first because his abilities allow us to do more and second because he has more years left then Lee who is gone. It is better to develop Green who has more ability then to let him sit.

Besides Lee makes that clipboard look so great.
