I think Lin's maximum level last year was about 16 ppg. He struggled early as he was recovering, but found his grove toward the end of the year and was averaging about that for the last couple months of the season I believe

The problem is that Lin and harden are essentially redundant. Think about having rondo and Steve Nash on the same team....only 1 would be able to avg 12 assts right? The other would probably average 5-8.

See what I'm saying? The IDEA of them being a 1-2 punch is great....but in reality would be incredibly hard to achieve.

But you don't think Houston was trying that tho?

Bc if what you say is correct Houston should have not grabbed Lin then ,bc Lin took a major backseat and it was the harden show.

Bc I thought it would work if both figured out their roles. Lin can still shoot, he's no curry but he can still get buckets if you sleep on him.

Idk I guess we really won't know bc now it's the harden Howard show with parsons being 2-3 option and Lin being fourth.i was really hoping Lin would do work in Houston. Now he will be more of a facilitator with the options he has now.

Well you have to remember they got Lin months before they got harden. They traded for harden the day before the season started. They couldn't have known they were going to get harden at the time they got Lin. The original plan was for Lin to be the leader
