I was gonna ask what the conversion rate was. I think it was said once to be like 5 regular season games = 1 playoff game.

Yeah, I was reading that story earlier today. You'd think the people in charge of assigning officials to work playoff series would look to avoid even the slightest chance of impropriety.

Wasnt 5 to 1 for the first round. I think it was 2 to 1.

The formula “was” 1 game suspension in the 3rd round of the playoffs was the equivalent of 8 to 10 games

So Aaron Rome got the equivalent of a 32 to 40 regular season game suspension

Post on Reddit by someone with investigative skills and way too much time on his hands debunking a few of the major assumptions with references. Long story short - officially the names of who testified are sealed and accounts say the players testified in defense of Frost (as fucked up as that is). Doesn't line up with the stated reasons for McCauley to "hate" Keefe. And we're not sure if Keefe even testified. Frost is a piece of shit. Keefe was a piece of shit. Danton is a piece of shit. If anything McCauley is the cleanest of the group.


Doesn't mean there isn't animosity, just that it doesn't look like what the guy pushing the story is trying to frame it as. A clitoris has 8,000 nerve endings and it's still not as sensitive as Toronto Media after the Leafs get thrashed.

Marek said at some point that the league was aware of the concerns and found no wrongdoing. Which with their record probably means that McCauley has a "Fuck Toronto" tattoo. Tough spot for the league. If they stop assigning Wes to big Leafs games because a reporter tried to stir shit up, then you would see hundreds of "My sister's cousins friends brother saw Ferris pass out at 31 flavors last night" level hit pieces on every single zebra.

Just gonna say he's probably hurt, he probably shouldn't have been playing down the stretch and the Leafs should've just said fuck you to the league and played the ATO vs. Florida and sat Samsonov down the stretch. It's complete mismanagement.

A goalie coach I follow on Twitter has been breaking down all the goalies and he noticed that Samsonov is holding his blocker really close to his body and speculating there is some sort of shoulder injury at play with him. With his blocker so close, his stick is leaving the ice when he goes down.

FWIW, he also noted that Vasy is rolling his toes to the inside which is affecting his lateral movement. Might want to have someone tell Matthews.

I'm fine putting Woll in if Sammy's hurt. Tuesday loss wasn't on him but he wasn't exactly great there either. Rather risk it with the unproven guy.
