Just to see what chaos ensues.

If I'm referring the game. I go to the grocery store or the gas station before hand. Buy 6 bags of 2$ potato chips.

Grab my phone. Set a 10 minute timer and lock the screen. Head out to the ice.

Insite a fight to a bench clearing brawl. Grab my phone and start the timer.

Me, the other ref and the linesman. Sit, relax, have a snack( ala one of the bag of said chips) and watch the chaos ensue for the 10 minutes before skating over and attempt to break it up.

He got it because Gally is out otherwise probably just a fine. Can't really complain because of this although I agree a lack of control by the refs all game led to a lot of that. Guys were cross checking others all over the ice...

But did they know Gallagher is short? And plus, shouldn't a strong young athlete be able to cross check another in the mouth, hopefully without injuring them, because it's the playoffs?

They already made the decision. It’s a one game suspension. I think it was fair and warranted.

It’s a one game suspension because Niskanen is a first time offender. Otherwise he would’ve been suspended for the rest of the series or 1.5 series or a mix of postseason and regular season games.

Or do they only give those suspensions to brown guys on the Leafs?
