First Hockey Game

No, It's not my first time going to see a hockey game.

I've been going around asking some folks who do love the sport though to get their opinion on which game I should buy the tickets for.

First off, although a Sharks fan I live over in Tampa, Fl. so the tickets will be to a Dolts home game. I'm buying a pair of tickets for my college advisor as a thank you for everything he's done over the years. He loves sports but he's never been to or even seen an NHL game and I wanted to introduce him to this sport (I know I was immediately hooked when I saw my first live game).

The two choices are this...the Dolts v. Habs and Dolts v. Flyers.

With the Flyers there's a chance to be a really violent affair because of what happened last game when TB used the 1-3-1 and Philly refused to play against it...but that's also what I worry about..if the same thing happens again I don't want his first game to be one where the players just literally stand around on the ice.

I guess the Habs would be the "safe bet".

Any opinions on which game I should send him to?

I'd go with option 3
Habs vs Flyers

Out of the aforementioned Bolts/Flyers

I'd go Bolts vs Habs just to be safe no nonsense happens like the previous Flyers game.
