The defense tonight reminds me of Ryan's defense a few years back. Not ready and out of position too many times at the snap.

When Lee is not in there the defense really falls off. He is such a solid leader in the field.
Overall D did not get it done tonight.

I was OK with last week's loss but nut this one. The Saints are filled with a bunch of rookies and this team can't simply over run them?
Going forward if Dallas expects to win they have to stop treating Weeden like a rookie and play it more aggressive.

Weeden isn't very good, but on a few of the sacks, when they show the whole field from behind the QB, there is literally nowhere to throw the ball. Randle fucking sucks, McFadden isn't much better. With Dunbar out, the only guys who can get open are Witten and Beasley. The last play was a direct result of Lee being out and a kid who didn't have a clue being in the game. This team is simply missing too many players at too many spots

I also have to say the o line has slipped since last year too. The holes aren't there for the RB's and protection breaks down too often. Things need to improve on both sides of the ball. I hate losing games like this.

I think he is terrible, but he's not getting any help at all. Randle is soft as baby poop, McFadden is the slowest fast guy I've ever seen. The other teams D can easily single up against Street and Escobar and put 8 or 9 in the box. Our best hope(IMO), is that once Hardy, McClain, Lee and Gregory get back, the D can create more turnovers, and that Michael can provide a spark in the running game to keep them off the field, and we can win a couple of close ones the next few weeks
