Crimson is 100% right. We were driving and then its stalled because of the lights. Reason we came back because we started playing 49er football and ravens thought they had it in the bag. Overall it ended up being a great super bowl. I still cant believe Flacco won a superbowl. So overrated.

you'd think after wining the SB, coupled with his stats and the fact that he has never missed the playoffs and won a playoff game every year he is been in the NFL people would stop saying that. But there is always going to be haters out there. I can't say i blame you for being upset at Flacco, he had a great game against a very good 49ers defense.

Didn't the Ravens score on the first drive of the second half or was that the kickoff return that happen before the lights went out? I think just like any other game interruptions can change the momentum and that's what happened.

It ABSOLUTELY changed what would have happened without a blackout. But it could have gone either way or neither way. It could have helped the Ravens, the Niners, the bettors, or it could have hurt the Ravens, Niners, or the bettors. Or resulted in the same result, just a different way. We don't know what would have happened. A different coin flip could change the game. One injury timeout could change the fates. Maybe without the interruption, Flacco was going to be hit and taken out of the game. Or Kaepernick? Or Willis? For me, what would have happened in the NFCC game in 2011 if Kyle Williams' fumble had been recovered by the Niners or if a timeout was called, oddly, before the punt? Smith could have led a TD/FG drive, punted three and out, or a pick six. Or last night, for example, if Harbaugh challenged the dropped ball, who knows if the Ravens would have scored after the punt and the blocked punt may not have occurred.

It still could have been a blowout or it could have turned the game? Would it have allowed Baltimore to score and burn some clock (it could have been 24-14 Ravens if they scored instead of Denver)?

Except he was surrounded with talent, and a lot of that talent is gone. Huff is a huge downgrade over Reed, and you have no one that can do what Boldin could do on third down. You have rookies tackling and injuring your own punt returners...

There was that one play where your rookie WR (can't remember his name) was streaking down the right side of the field and was wide open and Flacco didn't even see him because he was locked on to his primary on the left side of the field. It looked pretty bad.

I think its going to be a long year for the ravens.

Jacoby Jones is out 4-6 weeks with an MCL sprain. Outside of Torrey Smith, they're rolling with Brandon Stokley (signed August 10th), Marlon Brown (UDFA this year out of Georgia), Deonte Thompson (2nd year receiver with 5 career catches), and Aaron Mellette (7th round rookie out of Elon). They also have Gerrard Sheppard on the practice squad. He was an UDFA this year out of Towson.

Ouch. I may have to scale back what I've been saying about the Ravens. They're hurting at WR even more than the Niners are.

Not upset just stating facts. Look at his numbers. No way he should of been paid that much. He isnt a great QB. No one drafts Flacco in their fantasy draft to be their #1 QB. I will give him that he is a good leader but Talent wise nothing Special. He has a big arm. I give him credit on the superbowl but dont forget Trent Dilfer won one too.
