I don't think he gets close out in free agency either. The Rams problem in keeping him is all those CBA rookie wage scale guys at his position on our roster. Eventually all rosters spots will be purged like this by teams except for those few franchise players.

The Finnegan cut was a good move. What they do with the ramifications of that move remains to be witnessed.

I think the Rams resign him for less which I think they should just let him walk but maybe after the eye injury, he comes back strong.

so that just leaves JJ and Trumaine as the 1&2 corners.....unless they sign another vet, I'm not liking the secondary at all. If Finnegan resigns for less I can dig it, otherwise I'm not sold on the corners we have. Paper thin if you ask me.

Also, you can bet that they are making plans to sign Verner at midnight March 11th. That will be our big move. That and bringing back Saffold. Then some depth on the O line and a veteran Safety as well.... then we go crazy in the draft!!
