My question is how Kansas was a #1 seed.

By default. Someone had to be the last one. Kansas really wasn't a #1 seed IMHO. But, when I looked through some of the rest that were available, they weren't #1s either. JMO

I haven't seen UM play as much this year. Wagner won't be able to do to us what he did to Loyola. The key for Michigan is discipline at the 3 point line. Texas Tech was much more disciplined than Kansas at staying with the shooters and letting us drive.

Yep. Only a handful of the made threes were really defended by Kansas. The majority of them were target practice IMO.

Virginia absolutely deserved it. As did Xavier and Kansas. You don't just get a 1 seed by default.

Seeding isn't an exact science. Some years you can argue for one team over another. This simply wasn't one of those years. And suggesting Kansas shouldn't have been a 1 seed is laughable. You're acting as though Kansas and Xavier didn't earn their one seeds by saying someone had to "occupy the space". That's ridiculous.

It is because you can't make a case for another team. You can't compare these #1 seeds historically, only based on the resumes this season. Would this particular Kansas team have been a 1 seed in 2008, definitely not. Just because a team doesn't fit the historical nature of a #1 seed doesn't mean they didn't deserve it this season. You are being a little ridiculous.
