Villanova over Michigan is my pick.
By default. Someone had to be the last one. Kansas really wasn't a #1 seed IMHO. But, when I looked through some of the rest that were available, they weren't #1s either. JMOMy question is how Kansas was a #1 seed.
I haven't seen UM play as much this year. Wagner won't be able to do to us what he did to Loyola. The key for Michigan is discipline at the 3 point line. Texas Tech was much more disciplined than Kansas at staying with the shooters and letting us drive.

I don't think they deserved it either. Come to think of it, it turns out Virginia really wasn't one either. They weren't the last #1 seed. Xavier was.

But, some team had to occupy those spots.
exactly , who did deserve it? loyola? michigan? mich got hot, great, they deserve to be where they areVirginia absolutely deserved it. As did Xavier and Kansas. You don't just get a 1 seed by default.
Okay, maybe they did...and I was okay with it.Virginia absolutely deserved it. As did Xavier and Kansas. You don't just get a 1 seed by default.
who else deserved itOkay, maybe they did...and I was okay with it.
But, seeding ain't an exact science so cases can be made for/against a bunch of teams.
How about Villanova, Kansas, Loyola-Chicago and Michigan?exactly , who did deserve it? loyola? michigan? mich got hot, great, they deserve to be where they are

you know damn well by the regular season that mich and loyola didnt deserve itHow about Villanova, Kansas, Loyola-Chicago and Michigan?
he just suggeted loyola as a #1 seed, all credit is lostThat's simply not true though. There are never a bunch of teams that cases can be made for. I'm not even sure there was 1 team that a case can be made for this season. UNC was the 5th overall seed and they were a 10 loss team.
So, you are saying seeding IS an exact science? Cut and dried? No human "judgement"?That's simply not true though. There are never a bunch of teams that cases can be made for. you suggested loyola,So, you are saying seeding IS an exact science? Cut and dried? No human "judgement"?
Hell, I was saying exactly what you said in bold. Someone had to occupy the space.

Then ridiculous it is.Seeding isn't an exact science. Some years you can argue for one team over another. This simply wasn't one of those years. And suggesting Kansas shouldn't have been a 1 seed is laughable. You're acting as though Kansas and Xavier didn't earn their one seeds by saying someone had to "occupy the space". That's ridiculous.
Then ridiculous it is.
My question is how Kansas was a #1 seed.
