UK has a brutal path to the great 8. That would be a hell of a call. Ill be rooting for them, but I wouldnt put money on it.

I'm taking a "hot team" flyer on them and Michigan both.

Heard this from one of the analyst yesterday.

Virginia is defensively built to stop structured/logical offenses and they are the best at that in college basketball. Kentucky's dribble drive offense is the anti structured/logical offense...partially by design and also because it is run by a bunch of freshmen that are totally random abstract. Hard for a defense to predict what the Kentucky offense will do next because those Kentucky freshman don't even have an idea what they are going to do next themselves.

I can agree with that. As a fan, I can tell you I would never bet on UK this year. The reason being you never really know what team will show up. At their best, they can play with anyone. The only consistent has been inconsistency.

Texas, Providence, Butler, Oklahoma

If I had a gun to my head I'd have to pick Butler...not that I see any of them making it. Butler's path just looks better but it ain't no cakewalk either.

Butler/Purdue would be a good Indiana back yard fight.

Seeing Rick Barnes play Texas would be interesting if both got that far.

Speaking of Texas, there are seven frickin' teams from Texa in the tourney and mine ain't one of 'em!
