Just my and I think dare said something along these lines above, but if the voting is essentially a dead heat, I think the designer of the banner should have the final say on which banner gets placed at the top of the page.

Tell you what, if I have final say, I don't think I should have a vote. I would like to take my vote back and only cast it if we have a tie. I think that's fair.

I've got 10-8 in favor of banner number 1 right now, which seems to be in agreement with posts above. If enough of us tally votes and check each other's work, I think we'll be fine without a poll.

Thanks man, and don't worry, we're all entitled to our opinions. I could see the advantages of both, that's why I to use both of them. Both have their advantage & disadvantage as far as I see.
