A closer look at what Greg Manusky’s Redskins defense might look like

this is a good break down and it answers some of the faults we had with barry

I talked about this style of defense I believe when talking about Guenther and maybe one of the other guys being interviewed. It is very common in the NFL now. you give the appearance of blitz by putting the two ILBers in the A gaps and putting a safety or two up close to the line of scrimmage. The option then goes on the keys you are reading when looking at the offense as to who will blitz. What you want is the QB to be put in a position so he can't tell who or how many are coming. I like it, it is an attacking style D but at the same time you can give that look and than drop everyone in coverage too. I also prefer a one gap defensive responsibility. Something our guys struggled with. Sometimes because they were blocked, sometimes because they tried to do too much.

answer no most likely i would say 20 is more realistic

It is not the schemes that are in question. We know those work. The question is do we have the players and can he get them to play at the necessary level.
