Upon second look, I still think our group is slightly tougher. We have the better top teams in Germany and Portugal, England is very slightly ahead of the US, and Ghana is better than Costa Rica.

Well we got the shaft on that one. So many easy groups and we missed them all. A win against Ghana is a must and can only hope for a draw against Portugal as our best bet. Really tough to get out of this group.

Its a tough group but I think it looks worse than it is. Ghana isn't the team they've been in the past, guys like Essien, Gyan and Muntari aren't top players anymore. Portugal is very talented and should beat the US, but they have a tendency to underperform. US not great odds but I don't think they're huge.

D definitely the most competitive group.
