Briere line was crap, and richards did look good to start along with Jvr, then they all dissappeared, and the Giroux line was the only good 1. They need more consistantcy, scoring has gone to shit.

I would honestly not be surprised if our Flyers choked away the division title. We are just not at the same compete level of our opponents game in and game out. Again, it's embarrassing.

It is so true. If the Pens get 7 or 8 points to close out the season, I could seriously see us only getting 2 or 3 points and losing the division by a point.

Obviously we own the tiebreaker and that helps a lot, but this is a very realistic scenario the way our team is playing right now and when considering the fact that we've had embarrassing losses recently to each of our next three opponents.

A fucking reality check. You can't just rely on your talent alone to win in the Nhl. It doesn't work that way. There is so much parity in this league. Our boys just need to finally start coming to play. I don't know. Maybe a switch will be flipped come playoff time, but this is getting ridiculous.

I mean how much confidence do you think a team like the Rangers or Sabres that are likely to play us in round one can gain by destroying us in their final two games of the season against us?

These games should have a lot of meaning for us right now as we have yet to clinch anything except a playoff spot, but they don't. Our opponents have been wanting it more and as a fan, that is so fucking frustrating to watch.

Actually, the Rangers may not even make the playoffs if we beat them in regulation on sunday. That should be a little extra added incentive. The chance at knocking the NYR out of the playoffs in consecutive seasons. Realistically, the playoffs should be starting right now for us. Enough of this ticky tack bullshit. It's time to play Flyers hockey. That means full throttle and with a physical edge.
