I totally agree. Fed has been my favorite for a long time, but the handwriting is plainly on the wall now. He just can't compete with the players anymore. I want to, but I don't see him winning anything significant anymore. Age has caught up with him.

My favorite men's player of all time. I'll miss watching him dominate when he was in his prime.

He's done. Fed never used to lose this early consistently at tournaments. When he loses matches to Tommy Robredo and Monfils on hardcourts something is wrong with that

He just is not dominating anymore. He is barely a top ten player now. He will however have a good tourney here and there like Pete did on his way out. Heck, Pete even won another major in his twilight. The only difference being Pete had an unreturnable serve when it was on.

I think Fed will hang around for a while longer. If he falls much further down in the rankings or drop out of the top ten then he will think about retiring. It would be too hard to climb back near the top if that happens. I hope when he does end it that it will be at a good time and not after a has been performance. He will leave nothing to be ashamed of. He will have had a great career and made lots of tennis history. Others can only hope they had his resume. It is hard to see a champ go down though. I always have enjoyed his game. No one plays the game like he does. He will be missed when he does hang it up. I will be fortunate to have seen him in all of his glory years.

He's the greatest ever, in my book.
