Lol 5 minutes after Millers press conference ESPN corrected their story for a forth time. They now say it was 2017 again.

ESPN has been getting so much wrong lately.
Is that what happens when you lay off a couple of hundred employees including a substantial amount of what little talent you actually had and keep mostly the cheaper scrubs and expect 'journalism' at any level? :noidea:

I mean they were mostly hacks before they downsized and now it's beyond laughable. TMZ has more cred at this point.

If ESPN and the FBI cannot prove it was Sean Miller's voice on a taped recording, at the date specified, then Sean Miller is gonna be a very rich man!

Exactly, but no one in the world should believe that wasn’t Sean Millers voice nor should they believe it took him 5 days to deny it on his own. Of course it was him, but it doesn’t mean ESPN has proof it was.

I think the biggest problem is he sat out a game on Monday without a suspension from the NCAA.

Saturday, but they will claim it was because of “distractions”.

But who the hell is getting 100k to come to a school? That jus seems foolish and over the limit. I believe it was Miller on that recording but I’m not sure wtf he is talking about.

Should Louisville get death penalty after latest revelations in college hoops trial?

On Aug. 23, 2017, just nine weeks later, Louisville associate head coach Kenny Johnson parked his car in front of the Galt House, the famed downtown hotel. That’s where Brian Bowen Sr., the father of incoming Cardinal five-star freshman Brian “Tugs” Bowen, was staying in a $2,300-a-month apartment.

Tuesday, during a federal fraud trial here in Manhattan, Bowen Sr. testified he climbed into Johnson’s car and the assistant coach handed over $1,300 in cash.

Ex-Adidas consultant says he paid Ayton's family

Former Adidas consultant T.J. Gassnola testified Wednesday that he made payments to the relatives of five players, including the family of Deandre Ayton, the No. 1 overall pick in June's NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns.

Gassnola was called as a government witness in its wire fraud case against Adidas executive James Gatto, Adidas consultant Merl Code Jr. and runner Christian Dawkins. The prosecution is expected to continue its direct examination of Gassnola on Thursday, before the defense will cross-examine him.

In addition to the payments to Ayton's family, Gassnola testified on Wednesday that he also made payments to the families of Silvio De Sousa, Dennis Smith Jr., Brian Bowen Jr. and Billy Preston.

I’m confused on how that works though. Ayton went to a Nike school and is currently sponsored by Puma.

i'm really just here to shit on Louisville. i only posted that article to seem fair and unbiased

A lot of these payments were made to try to entice kids to play on Adidas sponsored travel teams .

The one constant in all this is the NCAA is just about useless and ESPN has no credibility whatsoever.
