Walleye are the best eatin', with N. Pike as a close second.

When cleaning a walleye be sure not to forget the cheek meat, it makes awesome walleye nuggets.

One rule with N.Pike, they don't go into the live well. The bastards put off a defensive slime that is just a mess to clean up, therefore stringer only.

They're disgusting. It also makes them a pain to fillet. I'm always shocked that it doesn't impact the meat at all and rinses away without issue.

Blue-fin tuna are the best eating IMO, but will be extinct once the Chinese wake up and develop a taste for that. Chinook salmon, preferable "Spring caught", would be my daily go-to meal.

Springers are 10x's better eating than a fall fish
