Yeah it's great. Both main characters are so contrasting yet at the same time very interesting. Billy bob kills it of course.

I'm a fan of the 1996 film which IMO should have won the Best Picture Oscar instead of The English Patient.

I was skeptical about a Fargo series, and was pleasantly surprised by the premiere...I enjoyed it very much.

I'm guessing this is going to be a one and done season. I noticed actor/comic Bob Odenkirk plays a deputy on Fargo, but he is going to be tied up later this year when he reprises his sleazy lawyer role when filming begins for the Breaking Bad spin-off/prequel Better Call Saul.

it was wild. I also have never seen the movie. Billy Bob Thornton was awesome, master manipulator lol. just watching him get these simpletons to do what he wants was hilarious. It is really good writing, you get slowed down to the pace of the simpletons, then catch up with Thornton and its hilarious.

That sex scene was price less dialogue by the woman.

Just finished watching it and thought it was entertaining. I'll try to keep up with the series to see where it goes.

If anyone forgot to DVR it and didn't want to wait for it to come back on...

Haven't seen the show yet but it does look like it will be great. The movie was superb as well.

Good choice to get Billy Bob Thornton.

yeah I finally watched it last night and I thought that was pretty damned funny too.

Overall, I really enjoyed the first episode and look forward to next week.

Was pretty funny.....nothing to do with the movie....just another wacky fargo story i guess....

It did pretty well in the ratings i read also. Billy bong thorton wasnt messing around.....i guess hes the steve buschemi type character. But smoother and smarter.

I have a feeling the Duluth police officer (played by Colin Hanks) who was intimidated by Billy Bob's character during the routine traffic stop is going to redeem himself.

there seems to be one point in each episode that blows you away. Billy Bob being "threatened" by the muscle in his hotel room, the sound effects were right on. Theres something you probably never had or ever will see on tv again.
