Boyle had some great years here. It is too bad that he wasn't able to get his second cup while in teal. I always liked his emotion, he had some fiery interviews and when Joe and Patty were giving their ho-hum answers after a loss, it was nice to see Boyle angry.

Agreed - I wish that he still had his legs under him. For a while he was the best player on the ice at times but time is a real bitch and we need to get faster and more physical. Its a real shame but I really, really liked having him on our team.

Same here. He always gave you everything he had, and will prob go down as the best D-man this team has ever had, so far.
But it's obvious now that he's not that same player. I'm sure some team is going to give him a 2 or 3 year deal, and he'll do fine.

Thanks for the memories Boyle. I think the Sharks could get more than a 5th pick, even for his right.

Boyle's contributions will be remembered fondly but he's just not the player he used to be nor the player we need him to be. Best wishes to Boyler. I hope he comes back to us after he retires. We could use guys like him in the organization.
