Shough I'd imagine should have a massive advantage over Rattler because the new coach picked him.
It's risky but if there is some logic to it. Shedding that awful Carr contract was the priority.
Realistically though.. assuming no cap issues, money isn't a thing..
Trading a QB to a division rival?
Trading god only knows how much of your future, for a QB, from a divisional rival?
Besides, the roster is in bad shape- the Saints are a bottom 2-3 bet to win the SB this year, and that was BEFORE Carr retired. No point in going all in on an aged QB.. be it Cousins or Rodgers.
Smart play is to let the youngsters have the job, see what they've got, and start planning for 26 and beyond.
Hell if you want a veteran to show the kids how it's done, go sign Wentz. Has a ring, 90 games started, and 3 years holding a clip board- perfect mentor material

Kurt Warner was 27, he's in the HOFWeeden
Im not so sure i can take credit for that one, but I ain't gonna argue. Both are nice!
Yeah, but he had those arenea league years - a step up in competitition from college. He technically signed with the Packers at 22, undrafted, but was released in camp.Kurt Warner was 27, he's in the HOF![]()
