it actually makes SOME sense... not sure how much some is... but some none the less...

Dak had an injury plagued season last year... and doesn't run the way he used to... Even though he is not old, he feels older than he is... and if the injuries happen more often, then a good backup is necessary...

Lance is a mobile BIG QB... I don't think they need to change too much from the playbook to use lance as the backup... and he can be like a young Dak... and then if lance can become something, then the cowboys have a value that any team would want...

Now that I think about it, Shanny is locked in on Purdy. Lance didn't have a chance, and his confidence was probably at an all time low for a kid who started out with some tough breaks (literally).

Just might be a good thing for him.

Only hits he's taking are the ones that count.

Now the question is how did he stay in shape? Will he take a month?

Yeah Ford seems to have an injury so he could hold RB2 duties. The kid had a RAS off the charts. I like this move. I thought maybe D’Ernest would be cut in JAX and maybe CLE picks him up but I like this move

In kicker news, the Browns cut Cade York. Not surprised but I am surprised they didn't just keep him on the practice squad. You can't fuck around if you are a kicker.

What's lost is what it actually does mean...
Hollywood Brown, Ertz, Conner...sucks that those guys are going to sucked into the crapper along with a couple of crap options at QB.

Even tanking, why release Colt McCoy?? At least he's a leader who can impart some NFL wisdom to all those young bucks, and keep them reasonably respectful, while still most likely losing 12+ games

Definitely a bad sign for the players that HAD some FF appeal. Happy I haven't invested in those players other than Hollywood in D1.
