Hope your hand heals up. Just got mine out of a cast last week so I feel your pain.

Alright so let's see see if I can work my way to 16 from here.

NE - Washington is pretty washed up imo and hogan while possibly similar I think may be getting hyped up a bit by being in NE. It's at least close
BAL - a weird situation. I would much prefer Crowder to a 38 year old coming off a torn achilles or a washed up deep threat whose failing physicals BUT to be fair if Smith comes back good as new he's obviously better. But with so many unknowns and risks here I'm taking Crowder.
CIN - Lafell eh maybe but in 6 years he has only caught as many passes as crowder did last year once (when playing with brady). Boyd could end up better but rn he's entirely unproven and I'm not a big fan - call that personal preference.
PIT - Wheaton is close I suppose but I'm not a big fan. As for coates I know he gets a lot of hype around here but he had 1 catch last year. To say he's ahead of crowder rn is crazy to me.
HOU - Fuller I give the benefit of the doubt as a 1st round rookie this year. But strong played last year for a not very good wr corps outside DeAndre and had 14 catches. He could end up better but he falls in with coates - he's gotta do something before I'll give him the credit.
PHI - I think randle is a really awful wr and apparently so does the nfl as he signed a 1 year not fully guaranteed 1 mill deal and might not get much playing time for an offense lacking at WR
ATL. - hardy was drafted after crowder and had a much worse rookie year while having much less competition for targets. That one seems clear to me.
CAR - Ginns another weird one. Sure he had yards and TDs but does anybody think he's a good wr? I guess he's ok at his one thing but I think his numbers are more cam than ginn.
CHI - royal avgd 6 yards a catch last year in a more prominent role than crowder had. That's not a good sign.
STL - Britt has never had 50 catches including last year as a starter for a team in SERIOUS need of pass catchers. Quick career high in 4 years is 25 catches.
GB - adams got way more targets from a much better qb in a bigger role than crowder and did less with them. Adams is just bad and all those guys who can't beat him out for playing time probably are too. Behind Cobb and Nelson GBs WRs haven't proven a single thing.
SEA - kearse is maybe a toss up though I'd take Crowder

And you forgot KC and CLE both of whom do not have better #3s than Crowder. So they make 10 and even if I give you NE, BAL, CIN, SEA, and CAR (not that I agree) then PHI, PIT, HOU, ATL, CHI, STL, GB that's half the league with one to spare. And I think those are just the clear cut no argument about it ones. That said feel free to argue :suds:

Andre Williams - RB - Giants
According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, it "sounds like" the Giants want to work in Andre Williams "for a couple of series a game."

Vacchiano says the Giants envision Rashad Jennings as their "starter and a pseudo-workhorse," but they continue to seem intent on making Williams work. The NFL's least effective running back over the past two seasons, Williams' carries and passing-game targets are typically a black hole. The Giants would be better off cutting their losses with Williams and waiving him before Week 1.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson mentioned WR Rueben Randle as a player who has "stood out" during training camp.
This comes only a few days after MMQB's Peter King said Randle wasn't a lock to make the 53-man roster. Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer agreed that Randle is "carving a role on this team" and "has the attention" of both coaches and teammates. Aside from Jordan Matthews, the Eagles' depth chart at wide receiver should remain in flux throughout training camp. Aug 5 - 3:34 PM

Great news, still I expect the Seahawks to be cautious with him in the preseason.

Wanted to comment on these two. Randle could have the inside track to start on the outside in this offense. He said some things, commenting on his situation, basically admitting that he didn't really try in New York and being a FA woke him up to reality. I was never much of a fan of his coming out of college. Seen a lot of big 2nd round WRs bust, but he's made plays in the deep game throughout his career showing that the talent is there. I'm cautiously optimistic and he's playing for a contract. Don't know that I like him more than Crowder, but the opportunity and upside are there.

Big Hardy fan coming out last year. Drafted him in a deep league. Couldn't really believe the Falcons couldn't figure out how to use him like the Skins were using Crowder. Obviously Crowder has his role carved out, proved himself last year, and the team/coaches are behind him and trying to get him the ball, but Hardy has less to compete with in Atlanta and no TE. It wouldn't surprise me if Hardy started looking Crowderish and producing at some point, but it sure hasn't happened yet.

Ladarius Green - TE - Steelers
Profootballtalk reports "retirement remains an option" for Ladarius Green as he deals with recurring headaches.

Per Mike Florio, "rumors" of Green's headaches have been circulating since the beginning of camp. In a bit of unnecessary deception, the Steelers had been insisting Green's absence was related to his offseason ankle surgery. Florio reports the Steelers could "eventually" release Green if the headaches do not subside. With the news finally out in the open, developments figure to come at a rapid pace. It goes without saying Green should no longer be drafted as a TE1. He's a high-risk TE2 flier.

So glad I took a 'wait and see' approach in the early drafts on Green.
What a shame if he can't get his head straight, always had the measurables, just never put it all together on the field yet in his short career.

Back in the off-season, I found it a little odd that the Chargers let him go to begin with. Raised a flag back then that the Bolts would rather keep the Mesozoic, ageless Antonio Gates as their TE1. (This coming from a team that let Drew Brees go after shoulder surgery.)

and this is why in dynasty, coupled with the fact the steelers NEVER featured a tight end, did i not feel he was worth top 5 tight end value
