Zimmer added that there "wasn't any consideration" of starting rookie Kellen Mond. Mannion, a seven-year veteran, will instead make his third career start in the frozen single-digit tundra of Lambeau Field on Sunday night, replacing Kirk Cousins (COVID) in a must-win affair. His last start in 2019 resulted in two interceptions and an eye-popping 6.0 yards per attempt for Minnesota. Managers should (slightly) downgrade Justin Jefferson given the woeful situation under center.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (hamstring) is questionable for Week 17 against the Eagles.​

Samuel missed Washington's last two games and has yet to get in a full practice since his Week 14 setback. That puts him on the wrong side of questionable for an offense that will also be without Antonio Gibson (COVID). Washington not placing Samuel on IR suggests they expect him to return before the season ends.
