Gruden is showing ruggs was a wasted pick. He doesnt know how to use him. Ruggs has a route tree.
yep..so does Edwards, I'm still uncertain if its Gruden that doesn't know how to use them, or that Carr just won't throw the friggin ball outside the numbers or down the field unless its up the seem. Might be both

Yep yep. They both def do. Potential to be a lethal young combo+ waller. Oh and his misuse of jacobs.

Ugh gruden.

Bell also is hard to block for. He greatly benefitted from the steelers top notch o
Line. @FaCe-LeE-uS can back that up. The line even stated at times how hard it hard it was to block for him. He had great talent, but in no way was he gonna be that guy elsewhere. I didnt think hed be this bad but yeah. Bad combo of poor advice, inflated ego, diminishing skills, and stupidity.

I get the whole Steelers line deal, and his style, and the nice mesh they were together. But honest question..Is Bell really to the point where if there's already a gaping hole to run through, as there is often times in Baltimore..isn't he smart enough to hit that gaping hole directly in front of him? Running stretch plays and waiting for the cutback to present itself is one thing, and I get that that's not his bag unless the line is elite at it, but grabbing the ball and heading straight through a wide open gaping hole..like Gus, and Ingram and DObbins, and anyone else who's ever been back there with Lamar, did often times..shouldnt' he be able to handle that? He didn't have either the great line for cut backs, nor the gaping holes created by the RPO's, in NY or KC either so I truly have no idea if he can or can't.

as of today, Devonta Freeman is doing that better than him, so what does that tell ya that Bell has left in the tank?

Ha, well, all we know for certain is they feel he's better prepared to do so. Freeman spent the offseason on a roster..he's ready to play...mostly. we don't know what Bell was doing, but he wasn't on a roster training and practicing and taking the field

Honestly it's questionable. His running style isnt cut and hit the hole. Its wait, wait, wait for a bigger hole and blockers. Theres definitely times that he did not hit the hole and take whats given. Yeah. Its a truly odd and unique running style.

Honestly to me. Even a guy like latavius murray, or (i am not saying this player to poke you! Legit because hes been in the news recently and true one cut guy, iirc) alfred morris. Hes just not that guy. So for the ravens who that style fits, alf would honestly be better fit imho. Alf will take exactly whats given to him. Bell would pause, side step, then hit it get 1 yard when 4 was availble. In Pittsburgh decastro and pouncey would pancake the first guy then go block second level and hed end up with 8 yards. Then bell would slip in a few magical runs.

Why is it that whenever someone posts a tweet, all I can see is the dang bird?
