ulio Jones said he "doesn't know" if he'll play against the Vikings in Week 1.
In the words of longtime Falcons beat writer D. Orlando Ledbetter, it was a bizarre scene. Ledbetter said Jones was "battling through something physical or emotional." Jones said he didn't know if he would play against the Vikings before then saying he "plans" to give it a go. He hinted at an injury issue beyond his contract situation. In other words, weird. Very, very weird. It's hard to believe Jones won't be out there against the Vikings, but there is clearly something going on here that the public is not privy to. Jones' situation will be updated no later than Friday afternoon.

Well one game, one game where going in the entirety of both rosters had been handled with kiddy gloves all off season no less, but still..my biggest take always?

Glad I didn't bother with A. Jones, his split with Williams is still alive and strong

Montgomery will likely have a few big games, but the Davis/Cohen/Monty split is not going anywhere..glad i stayed away from that.

Geronimo is the forgotten man...even when MVS had his menstrual pains, and Adams had limped off, he still wasn't on the field. Bye bye Geronimo!

Jones out touched him 14 to 7...ill take 66% of the RB touches. There wasnt much room to run in the game though. Bears run defense, well entire defense, is legit.

Yeah the GMo disappearance surprised me but he burned them week 1 last year so who knows.

EDIT: That said, IIRC after tBears lost their opener last year to tPack (another game where they got cute and lost) I think they went more to the run fer a few games..........then back to the same shit..............
