never dropped him from the teams I drafted him in yet - he should be rostered by someone, even if he's just a 1 or 2 wk starter

If pollard isnt rostered already, yes. Can't imagine why he wouldn't be already, especially by the Zeke owners. You'd have to have exceptionally short benches to make it worthwhile, even if Zeke reports in time to play week 1..just cut the losses and move on

Well in your extremely short bench case, no I wouldn't bother. Dude looked good enough in preseason to return adequate production if he ends up getting the call. But not at thos prices, no way. Especially with Mega Sloth still around vulturing important touches

I drafted McFadden the year of Zeke's suspension, then appeal, then suspension again ordeal. I decided not to mess with those types of situations again if I didn't have to.

in the leagues I have Pollard and not Zeke, I haven't floated a damn thing to the Zeke owner.
my guy was picked in the double digit rounds, and is literally a BONUS to what I picked earlier in the draft.

the Zeke owner is the one that pinned his RB production to a guy that wasn't signed by his team. let him come to me, since he should be in desperation mode while I'm sitting pretty.

Should you wait? Things may( or not) move quickly. Sell high mark is before things change I would think.

As Monkey stated, Pollard, Alf, whichever..in various leagues I rushed to grab whichever I could, with two objectives...yes, firstly it was trade bait, but, they'd come to me, and, I'd deal em relatively cheap, it it'd have to be something useful though, not just roster fluff, becuase.....reason #2, just like last year, everyone just brushed off needing Conner if you had Bell. Any Bell owner who didn't CYA and choose not to pay a small price in trade, went on to watch Conner be a pretty valuable asset, while they had a hole to fill.
So, yeah, as long as Zeke continues holding out, Pollard, and Alf for that matter, hold value, as the Dallas rushing attack is kinda potent, regardless of who's back there. And the longer it goes, the more value they hold. Why not bend the Zeke owner over a little, when its entirely possible you've picked up the next Conner for nothing? Anyone trading for him should be expecting to pay at least a little price for that very real possibility.

Seriously, it's so crazy with the RB situation right now, I wish ya all luck with Zeke, Melvin, Alf, Pollard and the Chargers gang.

Personally, even in redraft, I'd be hangin' onto Zeke and hopin' I wuz smart enough to hedge my bets.

However, that's just me.
