.5 PPR. Just the thought that a player like Fitz could be my #1 wr scares the shit out of me. Used to 12 team leagues. 16 is spreading it out thin.
Keeper league then? By the way I love large leagues and the thin talent. Gives to edge to those who drill deep in fringe talent that could maybe bust out.

well they don't have to post on mbbrl, they can on the general board

Well let's be honest here, the general board isn't for everybody. Some are adventurous enough to go their, most find it repugnant.

Ok. I've got the first pick in the DCFFL. 16 teams. David Johnson is everyone's consensus #1. I'm looking who's available at picks 31 and 32(my next choices ) . Seems like there are better rb's that could be available then wr's. Would Antonio Brown be too much of a reach at #1?
I think you have to go RB here. You will be able to pick up a WR or 2 off the ww that you could start. Having a stud RB give you a big advantage, especially in leagues that big.

I agree too. There's only a handful of rb's that aren't rb by committe. With Palmer and Fitz both almost 50 years old, D. Johnson is going to get a crap load of touches. Waiting 30 picks until my next choice is going to kill me though.

@cheerupcharlie , WR's you could possibly be looking at with 31/32 (according to fantasy football calculator ADP full point ppr)
30 D.T.
31 K. Allen
34 A. Robinson
Jeffrey, Pryor, Landry, Watkins, and so on. In a 16 team league, those aren't bad options for your WR1

By contrast, should you take AB, your RB1 could be Crowell, Mixon, McCaffrey, TyMo, Hyde...not ideal at all unless you believe strongly in the rooks

A couple of those wr's aren't too bad. I guess I was being a little dramatic when I said Fitz would be my #1. What about going TE with one of the picks? Reed? Olsen? Just wait on my round 4/5 turn?

no i think david johnson and bell are 1 and 1a, i think bell hsa some more risk, but will be better this year on a per game basis, cant go wrong either way.....

I wuold target d thomas, 90+ receptions 5+ years......then AROB. if its slow draft, you can always come on here to the board post whose been taken and who ur thinking about and whose available, people have done that alot, and we loooove to help

Well we haven't contributed to their board either. Think it's time we join together.
well looking at their board, there is not much we can contribute to, they dont post there. A few such as stomp, eaglesnut, and the klaw venture, full extension venture out to the main boards, but they dont talk fantasy

I gave my input on who I thought did the best after last season's draft. But, I know most of those guys from the KFFL days.

No way Id go TE, the position is too deep, albeit still slightly top heavy. Would much rather fill both RB and WR slots and then see what's available. Olsen's currently going 54th, he might be there at your next turn, but even in the mid 50's you could still score guys like Golden Tate, Fitz, Abdullah, Crowder (who would be the guy id take), and still have a shot at a Graham (67th) Eifert, Rudolph, Ertz, Ebron, Walker, Bennett, or Henry later on

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

You still have to go David Johnson at one.
He was targeted 120 times. By far, more than the next RB (LeVeon with 94.)
Heck, only 21 WR were targeted more than Johnson.
There's a huge drop off in RB value, whereas you can still find some decent, steady WR at the turn when you pick 31/32.
