Of course I'm in. After dominating the roto league last year, guess I'll try the H2H this year. Is there such thing as a keeper league in MLB and Yahoo? I prefer Yahoo because it isn't blocked at work like almost every other site is.

yeah keeper leagues are on yahoo.....im in one,but you really need everybody to return every year so probably not the best for us............unless you are committed for multiple years

I personally wouldnt mind having a $$$ keeper league on CBS....
But then you're talking about having everyone put up $30-$40 (10 team league). $150 goes for the league fees. And the other $150-$250 gets split out amongst 1st, 2nd & 3rd.


But i'm ok with Yahoo for now.

Hey guys, I know there are a lot of leagues being set up around here but I am in a points H2H league on ESPN with 10 teams that has been going for five seasons now and we need two new players to take over teams for players that are unable to come back this year.

We have the two keepers option which we just started using this year. If you like chatting it up and smack talk this league is for you. We have an interesting group of characters who are fans of different teams and the chatter usually goes on year round. If interested or have questions PM me.

I have the opposite problem. Yahoo is the only one blocked at work for me.

Both are set to 8 teams...but if we can get a pair to join at a time... could increase to 10-14.

Currently, the h2h league is category based. However, if the majority wants it to be point based... I'm open to switching it to that as well. (think fantasy football scoring)

Draft times and scoring system changes are flexible as well.

So what is the difference between H2H and Roto?

h2h you play against another league member for one week...however many cats. you win/lose that week is your record......so if there is 12 categories and you win 5 your record for the week would be 5-7

in roto your stats count all year and is scored by how well you do in categories.....

if you have the most hr's in a 10 team league you get 10 points for that category (least hr's gets 1 point)

you then add up your points for all categories whoever has the highest number wins

I signed up for the roto league....

I'll take the night off work for the draft, but I don't want to take two nights off work and if both drafts are auction, you have to be available for the draft.....

If you move one or the other drafts to the weekend I would be willing to do both leagues.....

I'm going to bug 1217 to get our Husker League set up again this year as well, and that will be H2H.....

Apparently I signed up for the H2H league the first time, instead of Roto.....

I just signed up for the Roto league now and will likely delete my H2H entry unless one of the drafts can be moved to a weekend or the draft type of one of the leagues switched to snake so I can just rank the players and let the computer fuck up my draft.....

I can move the draft times to whenever...
If weekends are better for the drafts... I could make one on Sat & one on Sun. Or one Sat. afternoon the other Sat. evening, etc.

Weekends are better for me.

I work swing shifts M-F so I'm unavailable weeknights.....But obviously there are other people that aren't available for a weekend draft.....It's so difficult coming up with a draft time that works for everyone.

I'll take a night off work for one draft, but not multiple nights....last year I had to miss two snake drafts, but I spent the time since I was going to miss them to rank my players, and wasn't totally put off by how the computer autopicked for me using my rankings.....

I don't know how the computer would work with trying to do an auction.....I've never done an auction draft, but it's much more homework required and you have to be there because if you value your players too low, you wouldn't get any players, and the values of players will change real time due to the flow of the draft.....
