moses didnt have a good game at all . penalties and getting beat a lot lets hope it was just a bad outing

KC looked good for a short time

sudfeld had a nice 1st game liked what i saw

kelly should earn some 2nd team snaps

need to see team vs jets to start bashing the run game but blocking wasnt great

i see lavou at LG and long at center by mid season

reiter made some nice blocks vs 3rd team .

murphy had a TFL and played pretty well , solid

kendal reyes had some pressures up the middle

cravens had agreat game for a rookie

special teams was doing OK until that big return

penalties are horrible

paulson showed good hands and blocked well vs 3's

jensen will make paulson work for a spot

We see penalties every preseason. I'll say it again, the hold on Moses was a horrible call, it's preseason for the refs too. But he did struggle in other areas.

Moses needs to use his hands with in the framework of the body of the guy he is blocking, when they go outside he will get holding calls.

Typically a team will reflect their coach in most cases. If we lack discipline, look no further than the HC. I read all the stories about a great camp the Redskins have had however, the first preseason game shows we have a lot of work to do. I would have hoped we would have been preaching about penalties all along in training camp but apparently not. Attention to detail is not what it should be in my opinion. It's only 1 preseason game so let's see if week 2 goes any better.

Won't disagree there . We need to. clean that up fast if we are to compete with top teams

I have seen a ton of penalties in every preseason game I have ever watched, especially the opener. That was the case if the coach was Zorn, Mr. Gibbs, or Vince Lombardi.

Agree, you would like to see fewer penalties but making a declaration after the 1st preseason game is a little early. Hell the refs are rounding into form too.

The Redskins were 13th in most called penalties last year but 23rd in accepted yards so worst case they were mid pack.

whats up with Vernon Davis holding onto the ball & Niles Paul being bumped to the 3rd TE ?

if this continues I hope Paul will get more opportunities ... if for no other reason then that my bold prediction might come to fruition

Davis has been 50/50 for the last two or three years. Whats saved him is the 50% he does catch end up being magical more often than not.

Davis has managed to stay healthy. After them counting on Gallette, I got to think they are banking on the guy who manages to stay healthy over the guy they hope does. I dont agree, but I can see where they might be coming from.
