I was just was having a conversation with my roommate from college and said "Man could you imagine a secondary of Revis, Hall, Byrd and Mays."

I need to distance myself from free agency.

of course we should. instead we gave the money to the cle OG. wow.

Dean, we have plenty of money left. Our not signing Mitchell has nothing to do with money we spent on other players. If we want, we can still sign a Byrd or Talib.

JY, while I think you are correct, I don't think many of the FA studs want to really come to D.C. Just the feeling I get from day 1 of FA. Defensively speaking, we really have little talent and not enough money to go around to make significant improvement this year. Guys like Talib, Bryd etc...can go to an immediate contender with the reality of going to play for a SB Championship in year 1. That is far from the case in D.C.

Can you blame them? DC has been a career killer for over a decade. Ask Moss, or Cooley, or Fletcher or a handful of others. These are players that were very good in their prime but really got no love from the league because of where they played.

Agree, scratching my head on lack of secondary players thus far. That's OK, it's not over yet

At least it is now very likely that Snyder is not running the FA department. I he was we wouldn't have signed two players that 75% of NFL fans have never heard of. :)..

Actually, if he was running it, we would have signed Demarcus Ware to a $100M contract (hell, we may still).

Looks like Brandon Browner is going to be visiting the Redskins tonight, but that's if the Patriots doesn't sign him first.
