We used to do these threads on the ESPN boards and it went well. Please post links or any rumors you hear on this thread. I have heard little to nothing about our free agency approach.

Its good news for sure. The rumors will heat up on Saturday and then Monday for sure. This was my intent on starting the thread. I think we will strike pretty quickly in all honesty.

You are kidding right?? I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to that, I just don't see them getting that many new players. 10 or so, counting draft picks.

Oh I agree that Gruden will want to do that. But replacing nearly half of the active roster in one year?? I am not sure that is even possible or has ever been done?? Over the course of 2 or 3 seasons... Sure.

This i think is a good idea. Sadly the reality is we got 20 Million in cap space and we do need to sign some where in the realm of 10-15 players. We are going to have to have some guys who dont get top dollar just to fill out the roster.

We have so many needs at present that over the weekend we will be linked to almost every FA out there aside from maybe QB, RB, TE and waterboy. Aside from that, every defensive position, and pretty much every offensive position.. .we will be linked to.

Keim: Thanks to their ability to block the airplane tracker, we won’t know for sure. But the names I’ve heard the most, and for a while: safety Mike Mitchell, defensive lineman Linval Joseph, linebacker Joe Mays (mostly as a special teams guy), receiver Hakeem Nicks and, perhaps, linebacker Jon Beason. They can be pretty good at concealing things, so I don’t know how accurate all the names are on this list. But I feel pretty good about most of them. Now, how many will they sign? Don’t know.

The surprises to me are the three Giants guys. Nicks is going to want at least 6 mil per season.
