Depending on the term he's a solid addition. Makes me wonder about what Ken Holland is going to do. Even with the loss of Aucoin & Rozsival the Coyotes have a lot of depth on D. Their forwards are AWFUL. There has been talk of Yandle being on the block.

Definately a solid addition for the Blackhawks.

I don't trust Crawford, but they have a solid team. Hopefully Hossa comes back from the concussion.

I've watched him in St. Louis, he's not bad on the power play. Just remember what we are rolling with right now... our top pairing is Ian White and Nick Kronwall. That means Carlo is going to get tougher assignments than he's really meant to handle..

I like Carlo, the biggest knock on him is his ability to stay healthy. He's like a taller version of Ralfaski (probably not as good of a skater, though).

He's the best of what's left on D in the UFA market. I wasn't sure he'd get a multi-year deal considering his injury history. It's been a disappointing offseason for Detroit.

They haven't replaced Rafalski & replacing Lidstrom is like replacing the irreplacable. If they believe Samuelsson will replace Hudler's 25 goals, good luck.
