Ray Whitney was just on NHL network and didn't say it outright, but hinted that the uncertainty around the ownership is a driving factor in why he signed elsewhere and also a big reason why Doan is looking too.

What a mess out there.

While that's certainly telling it like it is ... I would have liked to hear ray say "at this stage in my career and after I lost so much money thanks to Len Barrie and bear mountain I'm chasing the cash"

Love the overpayment talk about garrison everyone overpays getting a low cap hit is worth and extra year for length. He has to prove still but lets hold judgement
