If not for the fans, if not for the integrity of the sport, if not for the relevance gained over the last seven years, then simply for the people who are employed in one way or another through affiliation with the league. No one even discusses the fact that last time there was a lockout many people lost their jobs and this trend will certainly continue if a deal isn't done to salvage at least half a season. I'm left with only one question I'd like to ask and I hope everyone from the fans to the management, owners, players, and the league are considering..."Is it worth it"?
