I would feel a lot better if Robinson got healthy too...because no Wilson is good for everyone. Gim isn't as good as he's been hitting, but who cares as long as it lasts.

I am beginning to think that Gimenez can hit like this. I know this sounds crazy but I like his batting stance. Really equally distributed and has good vision and plate coverage with it and has a nice swing from it.

His hitting is fine and as long as he calls a good game and handles the pitchers, hitting is priority two. If hitting continues that's a better deal than expected.

Hard to beat 21-4 when he is catching. But you are correct on the priorities.

Watching the replay of the game today as I did not see the inning that Chi Chi came in. It is a good think that there is only around 1 fly ball per 5 innings hit to Napoli. That was not a difficult play to make.

Just gonna let the games play out. In either case, we control our own destiny. Guarantee we're gonna have to win at least one of those 4 games against LAA to clinch the division.

I do not understand what AJ Hinch is doing half of the time with his BP. His matchups against us made no sense at times and he seems to be in love with Perez and Harris who have let the Astros down lately.

I truly have no idea what bannister will do. I could easily see him playing Napoli against a LHP in Arlington in the playoffs.

Big opportunity for the Rangers to go up 3 games on Houston tonight with only 11 left to play (only 9 for Houston).

I hate the Angels too and don't want them anywhere near the playoffs, but I am first and foremost concerned with the Rangers winning the AL West. As of now, Houston is the closest to us in the standings, so the Angels beating Houston helps us achieve that goal.

My ideal scenario is to have Minnesota sneak in and eliminate both Houston and LA from the Wild Card. Texas vs. Kansas City and Minnesota vs. Toronto would be ideal, with Minnesota somehow pulling off the upset and meeting the Rangers in the ALCS.
