For me those two can wait till next year and then will have to earn a place on this team. Martin is a good defensive CF but down the stretch runs will be needed more as this offense needs help. Josh in my opinion is just not dependable. Lost faith in him long ago as a man and player. Yes I know he got a few hits. If Prince and Beltre get it together then Josh should see limited time.

Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton will undergo a cleanup procedure on his knee Friday. The Rangers are hoping he will make it back before the season is over.

Not sure if he will come back and contribute, Id say highly doubtful he is back this year

They're going to basically shave down and remove torn cartilage. I just don't see where he'd be able to make it back.

Even if someone else might make it back, I don't see that guy's body making any quick recovery. Even if it did, I don't think his head or heart is really in it anymore. Honestly it may be time for that roster spot to go to someone else. While he is cheap and could get a few more big/clutch hits, he is just too unreliable, to be counted on for much more than a DL placard.

I doubt if he makes the playoff roster but do not think you can add anybody anyways who was not here who comes after Sept 1. Assuming playoffs we have what we have. Personally. Yes given tread wear it is foolish to rely on Josh. But sentimentally I would love to see one last bit of magic for the Natural. Probably foolish pipe dream
