LOL at your 'strength of schedule' argument when one team's is 66 and the other's is 61.

FSU has straight dominated it's opponents. Anyone who watches CFB knows that only a blatant homer would attempt to argue OSU > FSU at this point - which is why it's not being discussed anywhere (nor should it).

You're the 1 who brought up SOS. OSU's is better. There's no debate here. OSU played better competition. Period. End of Story.

I fail to see wtf you're going on about. OSU has a better SOS than FSU. You wanna whine...whine about FSU/Auburn.

Your argument makes no fucking sense AT ALL.

Your argument makes no sense, because if FSU wins, they are IN THE GAME. PERIOD. End of discussion.

So, OSU having a slightly better SOS than FSU means nothing.

Auburn, despite 1 loss, has a much more legitimate schedule facing many more ranked teams, and has, arguably, the biggest win in NCAA football this year over Alabama.

Since the argument will come down to OSU and Auburn, FSU is not in this conversation what-so-ever.

I did not. You said that OSU 'plays in the B1G, not the MAC,' alluding to their strength of schedule.

And you're right, there is no debate here. You can't debate with stupid. Good luck finding ANYONE to help support your argument that OSU should be in the NC game over FSU.

This.

I don't necessarily think OSU should get jumped by Auburn or Mizzou, but I wouldn't be shocked to see it happen, especially if OSU struggles and the winner of the SEC champ game wins convincingly.

That means nothing when you can watch both teams and see one is obviously much better than the other.

Last year has nothing to do with it, and the B1G is one of, if not the weakest of the 'power conferences' this year.

This is where you alluded to SOS.

OSU has a better SOS than FSU. This indisputable fact makes your point moot.

I don't see in any way, shape, or form how FSU is better. Not at all.

Just like Miami in 2002. How'd that end up?

:L This was a counter point to your previous post. It's not that difficult :L

Why are you even getting in this argument? Don't you admit to not watching college football?

FSU's in if they win, but I think it was being called a double standard because they also have a weak schedule like OSU does. They simply weren't as dominant as FSU

Exactly. I never said OSU should be number 1. But to say they should get jumped by Auburn is ridiculous.

Against virtually similar competition (SOS difference is almost negligible), FSU has scored 644 points and given up 142 points. OSU has scored 578 points and given up 243 points.

Point differential:

FSU: +502
OSU: +330.

It isn't even close.

All of this OSU/FSU stuff is moot.

FSU is already ranked #1. They are in ZERO danger of being jumped by any team as long as they win.

The same cannot be said for OSU/Auburn. That is why this is the only debate that is worth having.

Whether FSU is better/worse than OSU means nothing. They are not being replaced as the #1 team (outside of losing).

It is completely in the realm of possibility that Auburn "could" jump OSU...Especially if they don't play well against MSU and Auburn rolls Mizz. OSU only had a hundred or so point lead in the AP poll released (I think it was AP). It wouldn't take much to get Auburn a few more votes.

It will be great theatre when OSU beats FSU while the Noles qb watches from prison.

Alabama is clearly the best team in the land.... It's just too bad that Saban didn't have himself a kicker. Reminds me of 90s FSU teams -- Always the most talent and always missing field goals when it mattered.

I kicked fg's for my HS team. It's really not that difficult at all when you're 30 yards and in. Saban was on what? The 17? And went for it on 4th down? What an asshole.

I think FSU beats them if they played. Assuming their QB isn't incarcerated.

I don't think FSU is really better than any of the other top teams. They have literally played no one. Anyone who expected Clemson to be great clearly hasn't watched them the last 10 years.

I think OSU beats them by a good 2 TD's.

I remember in 2002 listening to the Jim Rome show...except Skip Bayless was subbing for him. Skip just kept going on, and on, and on about how Ohio State had no chance against Miami and the game was a joke.

Fuck Skip Bayless. Fuck ESPN.

Skip Bayless said they should turn down the invitation to play in the NCG so USC could go on to play the U

Skip Bayless has been ruined ever since

why you ask?

Because the fucking team he said had no business being in the game one

that team is The Ohio State Buckeyes

ESPN hates Ohio State as a result of them all looking like fucking douche bags in 2002

Mark May is forever ruined by Ohio State
