I still cannot believe that Saban didn't kick the FG when he was on the 16 or 17 yard line on 4th and 1 up by a TD and about 4-5 minutes left in the game. But then kicks it from 56 yards with a 12 year old. And no one in the game to tackle the guy play the kick.

Just for the record...I'm not saying that Auburn SHOULD pass OSU..

I'm just saying, I could see it happening.

If OSU struggles, and Auburn cruises...it could be enough to sway a few votes in the poll, taking enough votes away to cause the BCS formula to put Auburn in front of OSU.

OSU and Auburn should both win by 7-14 points.

If either team is gonna lose it's going to be Auburn, though. Missouri aint no slouch.

For all of those saying OSU has played no one....who has FSU played?

They beat Clemson in Clemson by 37 pts. They haven't been trailing in a game since September.

They scored more points against Florida than any team did all season through an SEC schedule.

It's a weak schedule, but they were ridiculously dominant on both sides of the ball.

With that said I do think OSU should play in the national title game if they beat Michigan State

The issue isn't about who FSU has played...if they win, they are in.

The debate occurs between Auburn and OSU.

Auburn has played:

#6 LSU
#24 Ole Miss
#7 Texas AM
#25 Georgia
#1 Bama

And will play #5 Mizz

OSU will have played 3 ranked teams after playing Mich State.

FSU's in if they win, but I think it was being called a double standard because they also have a weak schedule like OSU does. They simply weren't as dominant as FSU

Don't even start with that. FSU has been by far the most dominant team in the nation this year, and has no losses. Assuming they beat Duke, there isn't any way they're not in the NC game.

Agreed.

FSU has played 1 more ranked opponent, but you can argue that the middle/end of the SEC teams are much better than the Purdue's and Indiana's of the Big 10.

FSU's SOS is worse than OSU's, actually.

and it will only get worse after next weekends games.

You are right, but it does not matter about FSU. They win, and they are in.

Again, the debate is going to be about Auburn and OSU...

Not arguing that point.

Just saying, the reality is...the decision will be down to Auburn and OSU, and you can clearly make a case for Auburn, especially if OSU struggles and Auburn does not.

I agree ESPN can make a case. They're idiots. Nobody with any sense can, though. OSU went undefeated 2 years in a row. They play in the Big 10 and not the MAC. There are only 2 undefeated teams. What's to discuss? Nothing.

About three weeks ago there appeared to be a real mess. Funny how the picture cleared up.

Last year has nothing to do with it, and the B1G is one of, if not the weakest of the 'power conferences' this year.

I fail to see wtf you're going on about. OSU has a better SOS than FSU. You wanna whine...whine about FSU/Auburn.

Your argument makes no fucking sense AT ALL.

If Ohio St can beat the Spartans they absolutely should be in the NCG with Fla St, assuming they take care of business.... one of them has to lose for Auburn or Missouri to have a chance......anything else is just wrong....if Auburn or Missouri go ahead of an undefeated OSU there should be an investigation....and I'm a big SEC fan.....

LOL at your 'strength of schedule' argument when one team's is 66 and the other's is 61.

FSU has straight dominated it's opponents. Anyone who watches CFB knows that only a blatant homer would attempt to argue OSU > FSU at this point - which is why it's not being discussed anywhere (nor should it).
