Glad I read the entire thread before I posted..I was going to say the same thing..Give Bo and Carl a month to scheme Oregon and I like NU's odds...

Going for two with a 50 point lead is certainly unethical, but going for a 4th and 20 with a big lead isn't as bad.

I just remember watching that Oregon/UCLA game and of course Chip went for 2 in that game........he knew he didn't need to go for 2, but he did anyways.

But the worst part was in the 2nd half when they were already up 40 points, Oregon missed a scoring opportunity because Thomas didn't see an open receiver. The cameras point over to Chip Kelly and he looks like he is going to have a heart attack......he was as antsy as a 9 year old kid on a playground, just to put more points on the board.

Every time I watch his team play I just feel like I'm watching a little kid play a game of College Football on Xbox 360.

Like I said before, it was only a dream of mine. Also, if NU, and that's a big if, they win out and all of the stars line up our way and we make it to the NC game, do you think our chances of beating a team like Oregon for example is very high? I don't think so mainly because our team has been very sporadic at times.

I actually think it would be a good game. I think we have a good Team but just struggle with consistency. We would be be able to slow them down some on offense however I am not sure we could keep up with them.

our D practices against an offense pretty similar to oregons, Id wager we would do fairly well with the prep time included like BRS noted

I agree, and if mistakes are kept to a bare minimum, we could win a game against a team like Oregon.

Can you picture how pissed Bo would get at Chip Kelly if Oregon went for a 2 point conversion if they didn't need to?

Of course I'm getting ahead of myself here and besides, if we did make it to the title game and it's against Oregon, I think the game would be competitive throughout.
