Wouldn't it be amazing if Washington beats Oregon this Saturday? Remember this, A college team cannot get up for every game and if Oregon isn't playing close to their potential, Washington does have a slight chance to win that game. I've seen bigger surprises than this.

Excuse me for dreaming!

I'll go ahead and dream too......I mean I do it every single week. If I could bet a million dollars I would bet it on Oregon to win by 40+ points though.

Sidenote: Today Kirk Herbstreit said on ESPN, "What if Oregon loses?? Assuming an SEC team makes it to the National Title game, who is their opponent?? A huge debate will begin. Is it Boise, TCU, or the winner of the Nebraska/Oklahoma game??"

First time I've really heard one of those "expert analysts" mention that Nebraska still has a chance.

By the way, he was assuming a lot by asking that question...........he's assuming that TCU beats Utah this weekend, and he's assuming that Boise goes undefeated.......and, I guess, if you really wanted to get technical about it, he was assuming Nebraska wins out as well ;)

I think Oregon vs Washington is going to be Oregon vs UCLA all over again personally.

The game I am excited to see is Arizona @ Oregon...........yea it's at Oregon, but this will be the first REAL defense Oregon has faced all year long. Arizona only gives up 14 points per game........let's see if Oregon has gaps to run through and wide open receivers down field like they did against USC, UCLA, Washington State, etc.....

The only chance we have of Oregon getting beat before the regular season is over, is if Oregon St somwhow beats them at the end.

I would love to see your feelings come true but I just don't see it happening.

If you look at Oregon since the coaching change, he has increased the "O" production each year and they (Oregon) are now understanding the Xs and Os much better (System). They in my opinion are wayyyyy better this year than last year. (Does this sound familiar?) Us on the D side and them on the O side.

I hope it happens but I think the odds are better that Baylor wins a conference title than the Huskies beat Oregon without Locker.

Like I said before, it was only a dream of mine. Also, if NU, and that's a big if, they win out and all of the stars line up our way and we make it to the NC game, do you think our chances of beating a team like Oregon for example is very high? I don't think so mainly because our team has been very sporadic at times.

I think Oregon's offense would slow down quite a bit playing Nebraska........what people are failing to remember is that Oregon has played teams this year with an average defensive ranking of 84th in the country.

That is not including the FCS opponent (Portland State) that they faced in week 3.

The defensive domination that I saw out of the Blackshirts last week beats the offensive domination that we've seen out of Oregon this year. When it's all said and done, "A good defense will always beat a good offense." - Tom Osborne

One more thing.......not at all related to this discussion. Chip Kelly is the farthest coach from being a class act in the entire country.

A perfect example of this is looking at the 2007 NU team, the worst defense EVER in Division One College Football, with a decent offense. An example in the somewhat opposite direction is our team last year with an average offense with a great defense. The records of our 2007 and our 2009 teams speaks volumes about this subject!

Not to sound like a homer...

But if we get Oregon in a bowl game....

and Bo has time to scheme...

Put it in the books as a "W" :D

If it was a game we had to play next Saturday, we would slow them
down, but probably have a harder time putting up a "W".

We would beat Oregon and Chip Kelly is my least favorite coach in college football

If we played close to a perfect game, I would agree with you here. The score would still be something close to the OSU score of a couple weeks ago, something like NU 45-35.
